Showcase of Bikini

Triad Scheme

I will use this bikini show case as my inspiration to create en suite bedroom and bar area in the hotel, which uses round shape to connect two spaces together. As we can see from the picture, the showcase has orange, green, purple, blue and tiny of yellow and pink. I chose orange, green and purple as my color palette, a little of pink and blue as the ornament. In the image, the main color is orange, green and purple were occupied slightly, by contrast, I will use green and purple over orange in my design.

Diagonal--Hanger line of the bikini.
Asymmetrical balance--Although it has two wheels can be symmetrical, but the quantity of bikinis and stuff in the left corner is asymmetric.

Harmony through progression--The two wheels and lines to connect the whole space.

Complementary Candle

Complementary Scheme

This time I choose a complementary candle which consists of green and red colors as my inspiration to create a bathroom. In complementary scheme, one color is dominate, another color as auxiliary function, two colors can't take same proportion. So I choose red as main color of my bathroom, green shows in secondary part.

Curved--The glass and the shape of the candle is adopted curved line. 

Harmony through progression--There are many red beans in the glass and a necklace outside. 

Harmony through color--The color of red beans, leaves and grass.

Blue fog in the forest

Tetradic scheme

This oil painting is: Blue Fog In The Forest, drawn by Leonid Afremov, size is: 30"*24". I choose this picture because I was attracted by its color, the painter used for a variety of color in this oil painting to draw a road into the depths of the forest.  You don't know what's the end of road and where's the end of road, it creates a reverie and mysterious feeling which makes people want to find out. I picked yellow, orange, blue, and purple as a color palette inspiration.

Vertical--The trunk neatly arranged in a line and the height of tree were changed from short to tall and far to near as well, which creates depth feeling. Radial balance--The blue fog far away is a central point in this painting and it gradually spread to forest. Harmony through texture--The leaves adopt same texture but color is different so that makes composition of this painting more colorful and stereo.
